For the month of December, I challenged myself to read as many of the ARCs left on my bookshelf as I could and then put all of them into my giveaway stash at work when the month was over. More here.
I did my best and managed to read four of the ARC titles from the dozen or so left. I’ve also started another one, which I’ll probably finish in the next day or so. Of course I would have loved to have gotten to more, but I feel like I did the best I could. Plus, it’s not like I’ll never read the rest of the titles I didn’t get to. They’ve all been published now, so maybe I’ll get to them someday in their final form.
The four titles I read ended up all being really great reads, too: Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes by Jonathan Auxier, The Fences Between Us by Kirby Larson, Fetching by Kiera Stewart, and Bird in a Box by Andrea Davis Pinkney.
So thrilled to see FETCHING listed on your December list! Thanks so much for reading it, and I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
Hi, Kiera! Thanks for visiting the blog! I really enjoyed Fetching. I was expecting something a little light and fluffy (maybe because of the cute cover?), but I felt like it really dug deeper into the emotions of what can be such a difficult age, especially for girls. I hope to read more from you!
